Carol Service Gathering on 12th December 2021

Before the gathering, Rev'd Ian led a prayer walk around the Gallagher Retail Park. The get-together was  really lovely as we sang carols, watched a nativity cartoon video and chatted about what we wanted for Christmas. Deacon Sue was 'in conversation' with a CSS regular attendee, Faith. 😊🙏🎵🎶

Sandra Godley at Costa on 28th November 2021

It was a good turnout (over 40) at our Costa gathering yesterday, with our special guest, BBC Coventry & Warwickshire Radio (CWR) presenter, Sandra Godley. She shared her faith journey and sang her own song, "My Darling", dedicated to her aunt, who was lost to Covid. Gathering at Costa on 14th November 2021

 There were fewer attendees at our Remembrance Sunday gathering on 14th November, but we think this was due to so many people having coughs and colds! However, we had a lovely gathering and our Superintendent Minister, Rev Dr Marcus Torchon, had a chat with Pastor Trevor about the meaning of Remembrance.

Our next Costa gathering will be on 28th November at 4.15pm. 

CSS Gathering - 31st October 2021

It was our first gathering at Costa since the start of the pandemic. It was a good turnout with over 40 people in attendance! It's fantastic to be back and from now on, these will take place every fortnight with Zoom meetings in the weeks in between. Next Costa gathering will be on 14th November 4.15-5.10pm

Rev'd Stephen Willey led our Fellowship & Prayers this evening. We broke bread together, listened to some fabulous music and discussed whether or not God and Jesus can also be our mother as well as father and son. Missing Jigsaw Piece

Caroline gave a personal and honest account of her life and faith journey this evening. She described herself as a jigsaw piece and wasn't sure where she fit. There was also a sharing of Chris Tomlin music, a Revelations video and a 'live' song performance. It was a wonderful hour or so of fellowship & prayers 😊🙏🎤🎵🧩😍

The Black Dog

Our Youth Pastor Ady White led the group this evening. The theme was looking after our well-being and he gave advice on dealing with positive mental health. It was a very interesting session and there was some fantastic music too! 😃👏🙏🎵🐾🐾🐟💗

From Zimbabwe to UK

Ruda shared some of her story of how she came to the UK from Zimbabwe and ended up being a Youth Pastor for the Coventry & Nuneaton Methodist Circuit. We also had a testimony from new CSS member Veronica, and contributions from Deborah, Linda and Jonathan. What a great team and a splendid evening! 😊🙏🎧🎵🎶🐵💗💙💚💛💜

Finding Good Recipes for Lent

Rev'd Ian Coates led our Prayers & Fellowship group this evening. The theme was 'finding good recipes for Lent'. It was a thought-provoking, interactive session, with a quiz and some great music!

Joy & Sorrow

Joy shared an honest and interesting account of her life.... many events being happy and others less so. Her presence and input to the group is always appreciated. 😍 A lovely song, "Beautiful Things", was shared by Susan 👏🙏🎵🐻🧸🐸🐰💓

Defining Moments

Rev'd Dr. Marcus Torchon, Superintendent Minister for the Coventry & Nuneaton Methodist Circuit, led our group this evening. Marcus encouraged us to think about 'defining moments' in our lives and how these can change the course of our faith journeys. It was an excellent session, and involved tying knots in string/wool, representing these 'defining moments' Wonderful! 👏💕🎵🙏🌸🐻

Open Mic on 12th February 2021

We had a great song from Ruth this evening, a reading from Bruce and prayers from Revd Paul. Alison gave an honest and interesting account of her Christian journey. Brilliant! ⭐💓🙏🎵🎧📗🐸🐰🍪

The Doctrine of Discovery & Missing Voices

 Anita  presented 'The Doctrine of Discovery', a fascinating insight into the treatment and removal of Cherokee Indians, America's aboriginal people. We had a lovely gathering this evening and Robert shared some of his life experiences #BornToCare We watched some wonderful videos and enjoyed a warm session of fellowship & prayers 😊🙏🎵⚽

Pamela led our group this evening, on the theme of 'hope'. It was a superb, thought-provoking session and the comments were extremely favourable! 😊🙏🐇🐸👏🌞🌻🌼🎵

A Personal & Honest Story

It was a smashing get-together this evening! We heard a moving song, 'Jealous of the Angels' by Donna Taggart. Ady told his honest and touching story and testimony and answered all Trevor's quickfire questions! 😊🎤🎵🍦🐰🐸
